Michael Barnes is passionate about the power of new ideas to solve "impossible" problems. Formerly a scientist at the #2 ranked children’s hospital in the United States, Michael has since started two businesses. Currently he is building a movement to solve some of society’s most intractable problems through Awakening Innovations. He KNOWS they can become tractable!

Michael believes that gathering the Wisdom of the Community will give us the best solutions to some of today’s toughest challenges including homelessness, poverty, hunger, and human trafficking. All it takes is a concerted effort to identify innovative ideas using the voice of the (often) voiceless.

Not only CAN we solve these problems, we MUST. We have a responsibility to bring all partners to the table and take action.
